I wanted something all brass with very durable chrome finish to last the years if not decades (like the classic American Standard faucets I grew up with) which would not succumb to hard water mineral corrosion. I’m sure the spigot is brass and the valves, but I can’t tell if the handles are. Disappointingly, the one metal part to the valves which is not brass is the bezel just below the cast handle. Why go cheap with this part when it is the most likely metal part to be in contact with water most often? Anyway, the set comes with a lifetime finish warranty. I’m just hoping I won’t need to see if PF will live up to it. Very smooth valve motion. PF could have made installation of the valves easier. I found it impossible to tighten them to the vanity by myself from below the sink. I was able to accomplish it from above, though this is not an instruction option. As others have mentioned the water ‘bridge’ went on so easily I suspected it would leak but that was not an issue. Where I had trouble stopping leaks were with sink stopper fittings. The kit comes with a plastic kit which did not allow me the torque I needed to seal the sink discharge properly (installed two faucets–in one case I did get the plastic kit to work). Be prepared to buy a brass kit. All in all a very good value…at least for the chrome version.

Typical inexpensive faucet set. Replaced a 21 year old pfister set. No comparison. Interestingly, the old set still had a red white and blue sticker, made in USA on it. You can guess the new one.
