horrible mixing valve.
This jx8 system is a quarter turn to adjust between hot and cold, so its adjustable but only a quarter turn between hot and cold. The manufacturer deemed it necessary to have a plastic blocking device so the factory setting is less than full hot as a possibility for adjustment? Why?
Did they think someone would be burned by it and sue them? Really?
Next there is no pressure adjustment available. SO…you get full pressure all the time and can only adjust hot and cold to get your temperature setting. Unbelievable. IT’s amazing how far we’ve come as we are now going backwards and that is called progress? It used to be you had 2 simple valve bodys and you set the volume/pressure with each hot and cold valve to get your mix (temperature) and volume (pressure) the way you liked. Appearantly price fister doens’t believe we need to do that anymore.
