well as you know they bundle everything regardless if it even fits or is necessary! this gasket is obsoulete because they changed the lever valve. I bought a valve that would not fit and a gasket that is no longer used on this faucet!

My bathroom vanity faucet was dripping water from under the body into the cabinet underneath. Price Phister web site was not much help in identifying my faucet model and cartridge. Some searching online determined it was a 974-570 (or 974-035) cartridge by comparing pictures. Replacing just this gasket fixed the leak. I received what appeared to be a genuine Price Pfister part. Note that you should take your faucet apart to check it has this gasket before ordering.
