   I’m not impressed with this item at all. You have to pump it 10 times before any soap comes out, but one it does dispense soap, one pump provides enough. I just reordered this because the one we bought last year broke. The long, narrow piece just snapped off. It looks nice and the color is lovely. But the functionality and durability leave a lot to be desired.

   Too expensive for what it is. I’m afraid it will break again due to its design.

   Pfister should be a better company and sell only the cheap plastic parts that they know break so easily. Instead, they make you buy the whole metal assembly for way too much.

   This video shows what happens when the soap is pumped. It gives a little initial soap, then continues to ooze soap as the pump comes back up. I bought this for the fact that is 1)matches my Pfister faucet and 2) has a spout reach of 4.5″. It does what I bought it for, but it would be better if I wasn’t cleaning soap out of the sink daily. Maybe my soap is too thick. I’ll try thinning it and see if that makes any difference, then update my review.

   ours broke within the first year after install. It snaps easily and is cheaply made, not worth the money. We are going to roll the dice and buy another one just because it matches the faucet but if we had to choose over again we would try to find something of higher quality.
