   I have been remodeling an old 1950’s bathroom and have decided to go with oil rubbed bronze finish. I chose the Pfister Avalon series since I felt it had reasonable prices for what you got and the finish and heft of each of the accessories and handles were excellent. The towel ring is no exception. It is easy to install. All necessary hardware is included as well as instructions if you need it. The ring is well designed and holds the towel in quite nicely. There were zero blemishes on the towel ring and I am happy with the way it looks on the wall.

   I bought this towel hook to match the rest of the Pfister fixtures in my bathroom. The finish is very nice, and it functions as intended. Installation was a breeze and took about 10 mins with the provided materials/instructions. If you are looking for a set of matching bathroom fixtures, this line is very nice and comes in a variety of finishes.

   This sturdy towel rack sets quite a ways out from the wall. I ‘think’ that may be good, but to the eye, it looks a little odd. I am thinking hands will be less likely to touch the wall since the towel won’t set near it.

   I bought this fixture to match the rest of the fixtures in my bathroom. When it arrived, the cardboard shipping box was intact and undamaged but the box containing the towel hook was severely damaged and taped together. I was Al’s missing the mounting plate. I cannot hang the hook until I contact Price Pfister for a replacement part. Avoid this retailer at all costs.

   Pros:
   It looks great.
   Now that it is fixed, it swings freely.
   It is solidly built.
   It is easy to install.

   Cons:
   It did not swivel freely when I received it. I had to remove the bar, drill out the hole properly, relube the o-rings, and put the bar back.

   I gave two stars because most people would not be able or willing to fix the factory defect. Considering the price it should not have any. Otherwise, it is a great towel holder.
