This fit my application perfectly. I had to fit my stem thru 1.5″ 2X6, plus backer board, plus 1/4″ tile. With the bottom nut bottomed-out on the elbow-thingie, there was still room for height adjustment.

Pfister customer service rarely answers calls or responds to emails. Disappointing since they are so expensive!
