   Thank you so much due to your review you saved me. I got my bathtub resurfaced looks amazing and so I thought I would take out the old fixtures and it became challenging when I was changing out the handle due to the valves your advice to get that additional piece by price Fisher, that extender to fit this handle was so much appreciated. 🩵✨🩵I ordered it on pfisteroutlet.com but we had a windy day here in Vegas and it blew away lost it completely. I looked around the neighborhood couldn’t find it so then I re-ordered it have it delivered to Whole Foods pfisteroutlet.com locker and I just got home turned off the water and screwed the old valve and slipped right in with the new adapter and new handle. Thank you so so much tomorrow caulking my least favorite, but will continue to learn how to do to finish off this project

   Bought this to replace an old Pfister Price plastic shower knob that finally broke. The metal knob is a perfect fit and miles better than the plastic one. It’s sturdier, easier to hold and turn, and will likely last a lifetime. Beware that you will need a metal extension to attach this handle onto the plastic valve stem (ckeck out Pfister part # 970-8000). Installation is very easy, screw in the extention, slide knob onto the extension, secure knob screw with included allen key, done!

   No screw was sent with the handle. I took the suggestions to buy another screw if you are replacing a knob with the handle. It still didn’t go all the way on. I couldn’t finish because no screw came with the handle. A total waste of money and time.

   I wanted to replace an old Pfister plastic knob (which is difficult to turn when you have soap in your hands) with a lever handle. So, I followed the suggestions of previous comments regarding getting an extra part to extend the shaft, and found that indeed the installation takes no more than 60 seconds. Very happy with the purchase.

    Converted an early ’90s Pfister Price round plastic pull/twist knob to a lever style hardware for an elderly user. You’ll need both the lever hardware and the stem extender to make it work, but those two pieces together made the conversion a 60 second job so our elderly grandparent can easily grasp and manipulate the shower valve on/off and adjust the temperature without having to try to use enough hand strength to manipulate the old original round plastic knob when taking a shower.
