Fit and finish of the handles were awesome. Much better than the handles I replaced. The valves seem to be very good and instructions were good. My only complaint were that the valve seats were chrome and somewhat sharp at the seating surface. I went to a local plumbing store and purchased brass seats that had a smoother flatter seating surface. Other than that I found it to be an excellent kit. It even came with a shower arm and flange, which was a nice addition. Love the Avalon series from Pfister.

Replaced the prior valve stems. When placing the sleeve part of trim, one side screwed on and tightened onto the escutcheon, the other side wasn’t long enough to screw into the wall AND hold the escutcheon onto the tile wall. Maybe because the actual plumbing in the wall was deeper? But I screwed that sleeve further into the wall and escutcheon was placed over but was actually secured in place with a bead of silicone. Support dept had no other suggestion other than what I did. It works . The same thing happened in a 2nd shower that I was swapping out the original 35 year old trim and valve stems. The wall tile is not totally flat, maybe that is adding to the irregular surface and not allowing me to screw the sleeve over the part of the valve stem that it is supposed to be screwed into when the escutcheon is in place.

Our 70’s hall bath desperately needed new fixtures. These were easily installed by our handyman and our bath now looks beautiful. Love the finish and design!

I am extremely happy with the finish quality on these replacements. The handles are heavy and good quality; much better than the replacement units we were looking at as being “universal fit options” at the big box stores. All flanges and gaskets are included to make it a complete replacement down to the valve body. – a great option for those with older 3 handle units that also might have some issues with the stems. The unit also includes 3 new stems, which I was shocked to realize (and happy that i dint have to rebuild the old ones anymore!) Had to return this due to a change in decisions for the finish from the customer, but pfisteroutlet.com and the reseller I went through, Lifetime Water Works, was very quick to send me info on how to return the unit.

I spent 6 months searching for bronze handles that would fit my mystery cartridges and also have a set screw. This one fit and even came with an extender for the set screws which really helped and made it more flexible. It looks nice and was easy to install. So glad I finally found these.

Old valves had a constant drip. New valves fixed everything. Valve seats were also included. I changed mine although upon inspection I didn’t need to. Crank everything down tight and then u won’t have any leaks. I even purchased a used kit and I had no problems. As for the wobbly handle review. It shouldn’t do that. I suspect the handle finish screw isn’t tight or the set screw into the handle isn’t tight.
