Our shower valve control and handle were worn out (see photos). When the shower was pulled on, water would leak from the handle area into the shower. The handle itself looked bad. I ordered the Pfister 9742920 Replacement Part cartridge, which was a perfect fit. I wasn’t sure if this new handle would fit over it, but it did. Be sure to hang onto the special hex wrench in case you need to tighten the handle in the future. This looks much better than the 25-year-old handle it replaced (see photo).

Great replacement of my plastic knob that would break every month. It was easy to install, and the pricing was ok. The fit was right on, but I do feel like it could feel more secure as opposed to feeling slightly loose. It looks better than the plastic round knob. I only ordered for the handle.

I had to change my bathroom shower fittings and this came in handy. I am not a big DIY person, I watch YouTube videos and try to implement these projects in my home. Changing my shower handle was a bit overdue, so I decided to go with this as it seemed easy to install and use.
