Exact part needed, easy install and works perfectly.

I tried a generic version which was much cheaper but it leaked. I guess you get what you pay for.

The part worked well with my Price Pfister faucet. At first it appeared to be the wrong part but for my model faucet there is a plastic piece that is not needed on this part and is simply removed before installing. It is needed for different model faucets. The one problem with this manufacturers part is there is an o ring seal on the stem that is too small to seal the stem when the retaining nut is placed back over the cartridge. My faucet leaked at first then I used the original o ring from the stem of the leaky cartridge. It is a small but necessary part. I don’t know if this was an oversight by Price Pfister or if the o ring is considered part of the brass retaining nut assembly.

Works as intended. Stopped our bathroom faucet from leaking. The leak was pretty heavy. Easy to install as well. The instructions were very clear for which type of faucet you were installing it into.

The hardest part of changing this was finding the tiny Allen wrench needed in my tools to remove the faucet cover to access the cartridge. After that , turn off water, remove the nut, use pliers to grab the old cartridge , wiggle and pull. The old one was plastic and had broken so needle nose to pull out the base. Then install new. Note to “clock” the new to make sure the handle is in the right position . (Pointing the correct way)

Make sure it’s the right cartridge number for your faucet and it’s no issue as it will fit easily and quick.

A little pricey, but worth it if you don’ want to run all around town looking for something few places have. Works perfectly. My plumber was in the house for other reasons but he installed these for nothing.

This cartridge fixed the leak in my kitchen sink faucet, though it seems rather overpriced compared to the price of the faucet itself. It was easy to install once I realized that I needed to use an alan wrench to get the handle off. Before purchasing this one I had purchased a different one from a big box hardware store (with the orange logo) that did NOT fit my Pfister faucet as it said it would, but this one did indeed fit.
