   This Pfister 9106810 replaced my old beat up brass stem beautifully (so far). No drips (so far). Mine is made in China with a UPC symbol of 038877446331. Mine included the black rubber washer (no screw needed) that sits in the bottom of the stem.

   I bought a new stem assembly instead of a new washer because my old stem was cracked and I wasn’t sure (even if the stem hadn’t been cracked) whether I could find the correct washer.

   And a shout out to Doyle C. who answered a question on this pfisteroutlet.com page as to whether this was the hot water version. Because of the answer I knew the old ones I was replacing were the incorrect stems. Thank you Doyle C. My hot water handle turns on in the correct counter-clockwise direction and for the correct half-turn travel.

   Could not find this valve at any local home center or plumbing supply. Found it here and works very nicely. I was having hammering noise on the hot water side. Figured I would try replacing valve first and abracadabra, it worked. No hammering noise!

   Great value also.
