   Our old one just broke off. The plumber came and replace the cartridge, but didn’t have any replacement handles. He said that he would have to have his company order a special part for Pfister. This fit perfectly.

   This shower handle comes with a screw extender which is perfect match to my old existing one. There is no instruction in the packing as how to install. But good that I read the product reviews and find the installation diagram in one of posting.

   Perfect replacement for acrylic handle; comes with extension that screws into cartridge. You will need your own “Allen-key” to tighten handle on extension. Be aware that on some older cartridges the acrylic handle is screwed-on with a self-starting screw. Newer cartridges have a thread that readily accepts the extension for this handle.

   After multiple trips to my local hardware stores… plural… I finally found this handle on pfisteroutlet.com. It doesn’t come with the Allen wrench, and none of my 12 fit… so I am working on how to tighten the set screw. Fixing a simple leak has been a headache thanks to this Pfu&$@ing part I had to break to get off and hunt down to replace. Overall the quality is great, and product came as described in one day.

   Easy to install. This one came with the extender which is needed. Doesn’t come with allen key to tighten screw.
   There is another identical that pfisteroutlet.com sells that comes with the allen key but doesn’t come with the extender.
   I was forewarned by another set of reviews from one gentleman so got the one with the extender. I already had the metric allen key for it so…no problem.

   pfisteroutlet.com saves the day! We couldn’t find this at Home Depot and after using Google Lens to identify what brand our tub handle was, Google Lens told us it was Pfister and lo and behold, pfisteroutlet.com carried the item. We installed it today, and it fits perfectly. So glad we don’t have to replace the entirety of the handle setup!

    This is an exact match to what I have. (Mine are original with the house, built 14 years ago.) I was slightly worried because there was no picture of the back side, the most important piece! So I included some here. These tend to get corroded on the inside and I had no idea how bad it was until I attempted to remove it to replace the valve/cartridge. I had to cut mine off of the valve to properly replace everything. I also included a picture of the valve (sold separately) so you can compare to yours. These handles are solid and work perfectly! They also included the stem extension which is perfect if your handles are as corroded as mine! (They screw into the white piece on the valve so the set screw has something metal to tighten up against.) Hope these images help with your decision!

    First, pro tip you’ll need a #3 allen wrench to tighten the handle. Insert the allen wrench in the set screw BEFORE you slide then handle into place. The set screw is underneath and awkward to align. Press the handle in firmly with your left thumb and tighten the screw with your right hand until is snug, DON’T over do it!
    My 1998 home is quickly being updated to 2010! Ya Baby!! Living the dream.
