   The replacement hose is exactly the same as the original on my P-Pf 529 Hanover kitchen faucet. The replacement is quite easy, but there were two issues that were time consuming. First was disconnecting the quick connect. I found instructions on You Tube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTJefezIvwg) for a different P-Pf hose, but the process was exactly the same. The second issue was inserting the hose back through the faucet assembly. There were two lips that it had to get past. The first one simply required several attempts. The second one was much more difficult. I tried several methods to guide or capture the hose end from below, but none worked for me. Then I rotated the faucet neck as far as it would go to one side, pulled the hose away from the lip, and tried several times to push it past the lip. When it didn’t work, I moved the faucet neck about ten degrees and tried again. Eventually it went through. I put the weight back on, screwed on the quick connect, reconnected it to the faucet, screwed the head back on, and everything worked just fine.

   Stop! Don’t buy if your nozzle looks like this with the black plastic threaded nut. The chrome nut fitting simply won’t fit! It is too small. I had purchased this two years ago as a back-up to the free replacement I got from Pfister (yes, call them first, they will send you a free correct fitting one) TIP!!! I just figured out you don’t need to replace the whole hose unit if you’re having a leak from the ball connector. If the ball connector feels loose, just a matter of tightening it. Simply unscrew the nozzle to expose the little nut inside. All I did was stick the end of a serrated butter knife ( the serration helped to hold the knife in place as I turned the nut from the open end) to tighten the nut. VOILA! The ball joint immediately tightened up and the large leak was gone. Thank God for small favors!

   This is a good quality replacement hose. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite fit our spray nozzle, as we could not figure out which model we have. Turns out if you are very careful, you can remove the hose from the nozzle connector, and replace it with the original nozzle connector. YAY! It works!!! I was desperate, to say the least, because my 2 year old faucet was still in great shape, it just had a leaky hose. To remove the end you need an allen wrench, can’t remember the size, fairly large one. Remove the nut, then the little plastic piece. Under that is a rubber o-ring and a little plastic washer. The hard part is removing the compression ring from around the ball end. We got it out by holding the fitting with the hose sticking out the top and wiggled it up and down till the plastic piece fell down, then used a small screwdriver to hold the ring while pulling the hose out.

   We have an older Price Pfister Hanover faucet and this replacement hose fit perfectly. We had no problems with installation and there have been no issues with leaking. I like my faucet and did not want to replace it, so I happy this replacement hose worked.

    The threaded end is slightly different from my old hose. Fortunately the threaded nozzle end can be removed. There is a plastic retention ring that can be pushed out with a long o-ring pick. Once removed, put the old nozzle end back on.
