The original hose guide on my Pfister kitchen faucet broke so this was to replace it. While it works fine and I can finally retract the faucet hose and snap it into place, I can’t comment on the durability. The original one lasted six years; the previous owners of my home didn’t use the hose much, while in the two years my family has been in our home we use the hose on a near daily basis. The hose guide is made of plastic so it probably won’t last too long with frequent use, but at least it’s not that expensive and it’s really easy to replace,

Fit well. We go through about one of these a year with our faucet.

Frustrated that this item (and two others ordered for the same faucet) cannot be returned. The faucet broke in the process of removing it, so the 3 items I ordered to be used in the repair are not needed.

I had purchased a new home in 2014. There was no way to identify my kitchen faucet as there were no product numbers or company insignias anywhere to be found and I was thorough in my inspection. The hose mounting guide, which is plastic and gray, broke around 3-4 years ago. Obviously, without a product number, I was unable to replace the mount guide. It was held in place by clever taping until recently when I thought to give it another try. I came across what appeared to be my faucet by an hour or so of internet research. Once i found the assembly diagram for the fixture, I used the part number and found this little guy on pfisteroutlet.com for for a couple of dollars which is alot cheaper and much more attractice than a rigged tape job. I’m Happy to say that this was the exact part that was needed for the Price Pfister Hanover kitchen faucet. I Installed the piece last night which requires a large hex key wrench, ?5/16th or a little larger (I had to make it a touch bigger than I had by wrapping a paper towel around it a couple of times). It was a little fussy but the sink went back together and my sink functions perfectly for the first time in years.

Hope this replacement lasts better than original—time and use will reveal the durability concern.

Fits and works great. I replaced several parts on a five year old Price Pfister Ashfield pull-down kitchen faucet and this was one of those parts. The price seems pretty high for what it is – a relatively small plastic part. However, I could not find it for a lower price. I ordered grey not realizing the part would be visible once installed. I should have ordered black to go with the bronze finish on the faucet. There’s a small bit of grey visible at the bottom of the faucet arm – would have looked better black but not really a big deal. I’m not planning to dismantle the pull out hose again just to install a black hose guide instead. Once installed it works great – I didn’t even realize the old one essentially was no longer working. Now the nozzle stays in place unless pulled down on purpose to extend the hose/nozzle.
Remove/Install note: Removing the old one can be tricky… there’s a slot on the back of the faucet arm that fits a tab in the hose guide. Push in the tab to remove… and align the tab on the new guide during install.
