   Packaging says its “genuine factory parts” BUT when my original one came from the factory it had “PRIDE PHFISTER” and “BATH CLEAN OUT” in the original to the my parts mold in it. Instead I got what I was expecting anyways, a totally letter free chromed face. According to the packaging its a genuine part.. I can see that it is made of quality materials and is just as heavy as my original to the factory one I replaced with the one in this listing. I put “value for money” into it having the words on the face so its LOW value to me. My 2 stars was because it didn’t include the cotter pin. Yes the old one didn’t snap but the stress knowing I might have to source out a new corrosion resistant pin in the middle of the operation annoyed me. I resisted buying a new one for years because its easy to fix old broken ones. Bend the spring ends and pop the ends into place. But the corrosion on the face was getting quite unsightly.

   I paid the extra money to get a genuine Pfister product, but I received a cheap knockoff from Taiwan. The genuine part has lettering on the faceplate, this product does not. To add insult to injury, no cotter pin was included ! It does appear to work and the spring is stainless steel.

   As some have noted, there is no Pfister label, but that is not important to me. The product was a perfect fit. Time will tell how durable it is.

   The item I received is not quite like the one pictured. It’s all good, but the face has no writing stamped on it. I actually prefer it this way.
   I’ll give it a 3 rating until I’m sure the “chrome” bolts don’t rust out in a couple of weeks like the previous one I ordered from a different vendor.

   There is everything to like about this drain overflow plate. I didn’t think we would be able to find a replacement for the original plate in our 1959 home, but this did the job. Thank you

   I got this to replace an old Price Pfister system. The only bought at the local hardware store was a smaller plate. This one was the exact same size as the original, stays down so the tub finally drains correctly

   In the item description, the item is described as being 3.5” wide…this is not true. The item I received came in right around 3.25”, which obviously is nowhere near adequate. Maybe the wrong item was sent…but it unfortunately means wasted time for me.

   Despite reviews stating this drain lever has no “overflow drain holes”, the one I received has 4 small legs that hold the cover just off the surface of the tub that allow for overflow of water to drain. It’s also a perfect fit and made of durable materials.
