These are NOT usable in either the left side or right side faucet handle assemblies. Make sure you get the right one for the side you need to repair. Otherwise, the part works as intended, but the lifespan of Pfister equipment is horrible in my professional experience. The sink fixture I repaired with this part was only 2.5 years old before it began to constantly leak.
