   Attached is the product that we received. No grooves. This part cannot function without the grooves. It is as though it was taken off the production line halfway through and sold before being finished. Useless like this. Reached out to the seller and have heard nothing back yet. Will update if I hear something. Update: received a replacement. Works great.

   Pic of this product with plastic pc that broke. New brass pc did come with screw and no way this will sheer off like the plastic one did. Super glad to have the shower back and know i won’t ever have to deal with that again.

    Cheap plastic Pfister piece broke inside the handle. This is a direct upgrade and worked too well. Installation was a simple plug and play. Now my shower handle has precise temperature control.

    This plastic piece broke off my shower handle. The brass replacement fit perfectly and was super easy to replace. It feels so much sturdier and was an inexpensive fix to what I thought was a larger problem.

    A few years back when I remodel my bathroom we installed brushed nickel Venturi handle tub and shower faucets from Pfister. They’ve worked great up until one day I went to go turn the shower on and the knob just kept going and going. I waited for my boyfriend to get home to take apart the handle and we figured out that there was a plastic piece inside which allows it to catch, which is the mechanism that turn the water on and off. This plastic piece had been stripped and broken and wasn’t allowing the handle to work properly. I couldn’t figure out what to do and I didn’t want to buy a whole new handle tub and shower faucet just for this tiny replacement piece. So I got on the Pfister website and emailed them about my problem. Quickly they emailed me back saying that the replacement piece that I was looking for was # 9700770 and that you could find it on a lot of online shops that sold Pfister products. I googled this product number and was happy to find out that the product was available on pfisteroutlet.com. Upon looking at it I was a little worried that it wouldn’t work because it looks so much different than the original piece. However I ordered it anyways knowing I could just return it with prime if I needed to, and got it within a couple days. It works perfectly it was easy to install all I needed was a screwdriver and my tub was back up and running at normal capacity within 3 minutes. I’m super happy I was able to find this piece, and knowing that this part is now made of metal instead of the original plastic piece, I hope that I won’t have this issue in the future.
