   So this shower head gives you the feeling like you’re under a marvelous waterfall or caught in a soothing rainstorm with soft, giant raindrops… One would think that it uses tons of water, but in actuality, it does not! Living in California, we have to use the water conservation filter things in our faucets and shower heads… So the shower used to be an uneventful and unpleasant sting of the water saving shower heads. But this one?? Nay, nay, I say… All 5 settings on this shower head are heaven, You’ll never want to get out of the shower again….

   My pressure is good so I got full flow from this head. If your pressure is low, you may not have the same experience.
   Supper easy to install and operate. The lever is smooth and changes instantly. Great finish too.

   Quality is not good. As you can see in the video it broke as I was changing spray Modes. I installed anyways and it is working fine but now it is difficult to change the showerhead functions.

   This is a nice and nice-looking shower head from a major manufacturer with a great reputation. It’s got five settings and they’re easy to click between, which my video shows. It’s also, like most shower heads, easy to install: unscrew the old one and put this one on. It always helps if you have a roll of plumber’s tape to avoid leaks and drippage. Some shower heads come with tape; this one doesn’t, but I had a roll in the garage. I’m not really sure what this is made of. Polished chrome is the finish, and it says the material is metal, but it feels like some sort of ABS plastic to me. I could be totally wrong about that. It sounds like plastic to me when I tap it with my fingernail. It is sturdy, yet not heavy. It came packed very well, wrapped to avoid scratches, and in a little plastic holder (like the bottom of a flower pot) to keep the head from scratching and breaking. It is a pretty wide head—wider than my previous shower heads. My last one was 3” and I measure this as 5” even though the specs on this listing say 5.85.” (The plastic holder that the head comes in also measures in at 5”.) It’s a good size—not unwieldy but it provides full coverage. The flow on this one is lower than my previous shower heads. And, that’s okay, because I’m in a place where water is at a premium. I did research AFTER ordering (of course), and this lists as 1.8 gpm: high-pressure heads are usually about 2.5 gpm. I also have a hose shower head connected (with a switcher—that’s not in my pictures) to this same shower and the hose one provides more force for, say, washing my dog or rinsing my hair. The flow is comfortable—it affords great showers and keeps water use to a minimum. But it’s not, like, a high-pressure massage head. It’s not supposed to be. Personally, I do enjoy garden-hoselike spray from my showers, but I also like long, hot showers, and that does waste a lot of water. So this is good. This comes with a limited lifetime warranty, which is great plus. I’ve had a lot of shower heads in my years; this is one of the nicest, providing a very nice shower with different pattern options.

   Nice looking chrome shower head with easy adjustments. This will save water, but you will need good pressure for it to work well. Unlike my last sprayer that would hurt you without the restrictor. This one’s restrictor is built in and is a gentle flow. It’s nice, but even with good pressure it is weak on some settings. The middle setting which I use the most is nice.

   This shower head is a nice size one. It’s very nice looking and you can tell the quality of materials is above average. This only comes with the shower head, no stem or plumber’s tape. The head installs very easily, there are flat spots on the tightening ring to place your wrench so as not to scrape the ring. I made sure to use plumber tape on the threading and suggest you do the same; this prevents leaking. Upon installation, this shower head had no leakage whatsoever. There are several different settings but I most preferred the massaging setting and the rain shower settings. The showerhead easily switches between setting. No fuss, just smooth. This is a great showerhead for its nice design, price, and quality.

    Comes in a very minimalistic packaging (no box, wrapped in paper and a plastic piece on the front to protect the nozzles). Installation is pretty straighforward… unscrew the old one, screw in this one. There are five different settings with different spray patterns. The lever works nicely to move between each one with a nice click. There’s some residual water that still comes through from the previous pattern when you move from one to another, but it lasts about 2 seconds to deplete whatever is in the unit. One nice thing about it is that you can change the angle of the entire unit, which was not the case with the one that we’re replacing it with. This works great for moving the water away from you while waiting for it to warm up during winter months 🙂 If you’re in the market for a simple and effective shower head replacement, give this one a try!

    The shower head itself is solid, stylish and had a nice spray pattern option and feel. However, I could not get a watertight connection with the included swivel ball joint adapters included, so I am unable to use it as designed. Once the ball is mounted on to the spray arm, which worked okay, there is a plastic ring which slips on the back side of the ball which I could not get to properly insert and form a proper seal. This resulted in a trickle of water coming from the rear of the shower head that no amount of tightening or positioning would correct. Not sure if this was a defect or design issue.
    While I’m not a professional plumber, I have installed numerous shower heads in the bathrooms of my home of 34 years from various manufacturers, but the design of this just was not right for my situation. If it were not for the trickle issue, this would have scored perfectly, so your results might vary.
    Perhaps a professional installer might figure it out, but that is honestly not my preference for what should be a simple do-it-yourself procedure. Will update my rating if a check with Pfister support yields something better, but out-of-the-box this was not satisfactory.
