Was having a problem with my shower, the control for the hot and cold water was not working right. It had lost the ability to regulate the temperature of the water, so a slight turn from cold would get very hot. Replacing the valve corrected this issue. This item was a perfect fit and is OEM. Didn’t want to take a chance with non-OEM, as reviews on pfisteroutlet.com were hit and miss on those products. The previous part was also an OEM replacement that last about 10 years before it failed. Hopefully, this will last just as long. Rated 5-stars.

Took me a while to find out brand of my faucet valve. Not only did the old valve not allow hot water to flow it caused hot water to mix with cold whenever any house faucet was turned on. I thought at first that my electric HW heater was going bad. This cartridge worked perfectly!
