I’m giving it 4 stars because I had it professionally installed. It was quick and easy for him, but I never even tried to do it myself, so I can’t speak to that. It’s very nice looking and works great. It was also one that worked with my 30 year old plumbing!

I bought this model simply because of the price and raised shower head. It was installed with a new valve by my plumber. He said it all went together well. I am very happy with it after a few weeks. I didn’t think I would like the large rain like head but I do. Its soft like a rain shower but the large head covers so well you don’t have to move much. The chrome does spot from the water but that should be expected. Also we have hard water here in Florida. I will update the review in the future.

Looks nice, looks like a good price, right? Well….. No and Yes. If you read the description all the way at the bottom it says valve body sold separately. I didn’t read all the way to the bottom. Can’t wait on the valve body because the plumber only has tomorrow so I have to go to the store and buy a complete set in thé morning. My mistake but that needs to be at the top not at the bottom please

Very nicely made quality product. Nothing tinny about the chrome parts. The mixing valve is percision cast solid brass… Important Note; Must remember to adjust the water temperature set-screw in the mixing valve before securing the chrome face-plate and control handle.
The only surprise was that the design of the shower head & the chrome trim-plate to the control handle are both a “slight oval”, as opposed to “round”. Personally, I think the oval shape is silly. It demands that you calling it ever so correctly when you install. Had it been a perfect round, it would make no difference.
