I don’t use the shower head or faucet so this is for the valve only. Despite being pretty, the function is kind of weird. Its range is a quarter (90 degree) turn. So at 3 o’clock it’s boiling hot and at 6 o’clock it’s off. Seems odd to me that the range of motion is so stunted. It makes choosing the right temperature for the shower an exacting geometrical exercise. Why? The same goes for full release of the water. Full release of water is only when the valve is fully turned at the 3 o’clock position. Want a warm shower? Expect partial release of the stream. WHY?
