I put the PF Ladera series in the vanity faucet and shower bath during a recent remodel at my daughter’s house. I am a retired facility engineer, have done many bath remodels and know my way around plumbing fixtures, and piping measurements. I installed the shower valve as per the directions but when I put up a wall to test the dimensions the valve stuck out too far. I double checked the instructions and measurements and all seemed correct. I called customer service.. what a joke. They told me I had installed it too close to the wall and hadn’t followed directions. I sent them a picture with a tape measure showing the dimensions clearly met their requirements. I was amazed when the rep replied that the picture must be wrong because the directions couldn’t be wrong. Did he think I altered the pic? When I asked to speak to someone else, he assured me a manager would return my call by the end of the day. No one ever called back. I ended up re-soldering the piping and wasting lots of time with their call center. No more PF ever for me.

I purchased this kit first from a local outlet, but I’m not buying 2 more of the same kit for my other showers. my only complaint is the last of fittings for various piping types, but that would increase cost if included…

The overall product is great. The finish is great. It’s not too hard to install. However, I purchased this item without knowing it was a 1.8 gallon low flow item. My tiny dog makes a bigger stream than this. it’s absolutely horrible. Even the tub flow is reduced. It takes 45 minutes to draw water for a bath. The water is cold by the time the tub has water in it! The entire thing is coming out and being replaced with a 2.5 gallon per minute shower.

I have spent so much money on fixtures that are cheap, lightweight, and do not last. These fixtures are heavy duty, spot resistant and seem like they are made to last. The inconvenience and mess of replacing fixtures, makes the price and quality of these fixtures worth the money.

Very good product.

I got this in brushed nickel. It’s nice, understated, classic appearing, and the install wasn’t too brutal.
However…
I’d pay threes times as much for ugly, if it had good water pressure.
This is the worst.
Irony plumbing.
It’s water-saving, low-flow feature makes my shower take 5x as long as it used to- it takes that long to get the shampoo rinsed out of my hair. I switched to a spray-on, leave-in condition, because I have to work for a living and can’t spend all morning rinsing under this trickle stream flow.
Immeasurably annoying, especially after spending upwards of $10k on a small bathroom renovation. Stepping under the flow of this shower head was a big bummer. I’m now shopping for a different, high flow shower head, or one whose flow restrictors I can easily remove from the fixture (itried to amend this one- no dice.)
Sorry Pfister. This one’s a loser.
