Like the other reviewer… I did not receive the showerhead pictured in the ad but another version that is much bigger and less sleek. The hose is also cheap plastic and not flexible at all. Overall very disappointed. Returned.

The handheld shower head is great except for the hose which is entirely to STIFF. That makes it hard to manipulate and also to return it to a non-handheld position.

Comes with poor quality “flex” hose. You will want to buy a replacement hose for a additional $20 that is made of metal, is truly flexible, and matches the color. Surprised and disappointed in a brand name like Pfister to include a cheap hose. Supplied hose feels like a stiff plastic that can be flexed into shape but it is very stiff. So stiff that it does not allow the head to rest in the cradle in a good position without really working hard while you shower. Shower head is ok; just be aware it is low flow rate for water conservation.

I needed to replace my old Avalon shower head… the photo IS different than what you get but it is the correct Avalon model. I returned THREE high end expensive shower heads from Lowe’s/Home Depot for this one… none of the modern new ones have the rinse setting which is a must for rinsing my hair. This one still has this setting. I even took out the little blue ring… tons of pressure and so much better than any of the expensive new shower heads… don’t worry about the lighter feeling of this, just buy it. Promise you won’t regret it… don’t judge a book by its cover. Try it out for yourself!
