This faucet and drain look great. Unfortunately, the Hot and cold pipes coming out of the bottom of the faucet go from 1/2 inch to a small, soft pieces of copper tubing that are approximately 1 cm. When screwing the waterlines in to this low-quality set up, both of the copper tubing for the hot and cold twisted and broke. Unfortunately, I ended up having to call a plumber who stated that the copper tubing was much too thin. The plumber went with me to Home Depot and we ended up purchasing a Moen faucet, which is clearly superior in quality. No, I do not work for moen. I do not advise anyone to buy this faucet because of the cheap quality and engineering of the product! I tried to return the item, but it was over 30 days and pfisteroutlet.com will not return this item, according to their website.

Pfister brand stuff is always good. They have been around along time and know what they are doing. I bought this for a very small sink I bought and it works great. It came with a very nice pop up overflow sink drain that didn’t work for the sink I bought but I wasn’t expecting it anyway and I am sure it would work great on most normal sinks.

The photo is actually for model J42-AMCK which has been discontinued as far as I can tell. Model F-042-PRKK does not have the lever in the back that allows you to raise and lower the drain. Instead, it comes with a “Push & Seal” drain that you manually push up and down. I’m not happy because I have a plumber coming tomorrow and now I have no faucet for him to install.
Pfister: I think the Push & Seal drain is a terrible idea. If you’re washing out something gross, like a baby’s pants after a blowout, you soak them and then have to stick your hand into the dirty water to open the drain. Who wants to do that? That’s why I am returning this faucet.

This is a very nice looking faucet for a reasonable price. I installed it without too much trouble, but I’m giving it 4 stars for poor quality control. There are 4 screws in the body of the faucet that hold it together. I didn’t realize that one was missing until the two halves of the faucet starting coming apart during installation. Fortunately, I found the screw in the box, so I didn’t need to return the whole thing.
I intentionally ordered the version with the pop-up drain since I don’t remember the last time I’ve needed to fill the sink. Installation was MUCH easier than with the traditional pull-stick design, and the oversize stopper looks very nice at the bottom of the basin.
I love that the faucet only uses 1.5 GPM with the included aerator. The flow is better than on another sink in my house that has a 1.75 GPM aerator. I’m not sure what black magic they used to accomplish that.
