   Bought this shower faucet set as “used” (as I have done with other products through pfisteroutlet.com) because I have never had a problem. Turned off our water, removed old leaky valves, installed new and found that we are missing a part (see photo). That’s the main reason I’m giving it a low rating. The quality of the valves is very good and the set is otherwise nice.

   We wanted to update the look of our tub/shower without re-doing any tile or replacing the old 2 handle Pfister valve body in the wall. These handles look nice and feel very solid. The stems and handles were a perfect fit for our old valve. Note that the handles do stick out from the flanges a little more than in the pictures I’d seen online, but I think that this just varies based on how far back the valve body sits in the wall. The matching shower arm and flange are nice too. The finish is very nice. I had this kit installed along with the matching tub spout and Avalon sink faucet which has matching handles, and I think it all looks great! It’s nice that they have this handle upgrade for old valves that still matches a new sink faucet. I had a plumber install them and he said everything went on the old valve easily and fit perfectly.

   The material inside the handle was not good material and essentially corroded. Since the valve was extended (by some screw), the inside of the handle could not seat all the way (the hole was not deep enough) so the ‘grip’ from the handle to the stem was short. If we had cut the screw off to reduce the length of the stem, by maybe 1/3 inch then we would essentially be able to ‘grip’ the stem fully. But since this is a extended valve… the handle hole length could not compensate. I would have to agree with another 1 star review here. It is a bad design. Either push the ‘gripper’ from the inside of the hand up more (to compensate for the extension) or fix the material being made to a less corrosive material.

   These handles are great looking. I wanted to update the look of my shower. I installed these and they are of great quality. I had bought some handles at Home Depot and they literally feel apart after second use. I returned them and bought these from pfisteroutlet.com. Arrived quickly and was surprised to get a matching shower neck pipe. This kit includes everything you will need to replace your existing handles.

   Some idiot decided to alter the design, and now it is impossible to put together. I had installed the same 3-handle set in another bathroom, ordered the 2-handle kit and the stem extenders needed to secure the handles do not go deep enough into the handles recesses to sit securely. See pic. Old on on the left, there’s still some depth in the handle for it to sit on the stem securely. On the right is the ‘new’ design – no way it would lock onto the stem. WTF pfisteroutlet.com/Pfister? Did anyone actually try to see if this would work before selling?
