   I haven’t installed this yet. It looks much like the original part and should do the job. I’m giving it 3 stars because it does not have the “Price Pfister Bath Clean Out” words imprinted on it. It is plain on the front. Not a big deal functionally, but if you show a picture to advertise a product, it should look like the picture. I found a similar item with a plain front like this one for a few dollars less. I would’ve ordered that one, but thought this one looked nicer because of the imprinted name. So I spent a few dollars extra for nothing.

   I ordered a Price Pirates tub drain lever replacement. I chose this one because I wanted an exact replacement so as to not have difficulty in replacing the broken one. Although the part was not the one that was shown in the product information picture, it was a perfect match. I would have preferred to receive the one pictured as it shows to have “Price Pfister, Tub Clean Out” stamped on it, but at the end of the day, I replaced the broken lever within 15 minutes after the package was delivered to my home. My tub is back in service without difficulty as I had originally wanted. The absence of the “Price Pfister on the product cost you a star!

   Our drain knob broke so I had to replace it. My brother in law said it was impossible, he had to give up on his and use a rubber plug.
   I opened the packaging, removed the old one, 2 screws and a pin, attached the pin to this one, attached with two screws(included) and was done. 15 minutes and I had a working drain again!
   I wasted so much time looking for this item in stores and online, the price on pfisteroutlet.com was the best, shipping was fast and I’m very pleased to say, I don’t have a rubber drain plug!

   I shopped many hardware stores to find a Price Pfister plate that was big enough to cover the same area as my old plate that was corroding. I had no luck. All I found were smaller, which would leave an ugly ring (I’m sure) around the area in my fiberglass tub. So I went on line and lo and behold there was a man who was having the same problem I was. He recommended this plate and said that it was over sized from all the others he was finding. So, I took a chance and ordered it. The plumbers came and removed the old one (doing other work as well) and it fit perfectly. So, if you are looking for a bigger plate than what’s out there in the stores, you might want to try this one. It’s heavy and seems like it will hold up through the years. I hope this posting helps someone else find exactly what you are looking for.

   Next time I’ll read more. The item I received is not what is pictured. I bought this specifically because I wanted THE ACTUAL Price Pfister model with the imprinted writing on it. That’s picky, I know, but I was replacing an old one marked that way and wanted an exact replacement, not just exact fit. The packaging the one I received is marked Price Pfister, but the plate is completely smooth with no markings. I suspect that Price Pfister is not actually making these anymore. I am very concerned about the quality considering the one I’m replacing lasted decades.

   Overall, I really wish that I bought one of the less expensive equivalent parts rather than paying a little more for the one that I thought was the correct replacement. I don’t have time to hassle with a return as I need the part, otherwise I’d be sending this one back and getting one of the less expensive ones.

   Does not match the picture in the product description. The product I received doesn’t have the writing that is shown in the picture or in my original tub plate. The size does match and it comes with the pin spring on the back which is what broke on my old one. It might be better to buy the ones at Home Depot which seem to have an actual spring for tension instead of a flimsy pin.

   I looked for this tub plate in several hardware stores and even a plumbing supplies store and could not find it. I was fortunate that it fit my old bathtub as the part is over sized compared to the tub plates sold in hardware stores. The only problem I had when ordering was that the company did not give me the size of the tub plate on the Internet. I took a chance when I bought it and it fit. Not cheap but the old tub plate had fallen apart and looked horrible.

   After snugging plate to tub it did not fit flush, there was a gap all around the cover. I discovered that there was a small tab at top of cover that prevented the tub plate from fitting tight to the tub. My old plate did not have the small tab on it, thus it fit flush. While not an issue with raising and lowering the stopper, it just looks like it does not fit. And the Price Pfister name was not stamped on the plate. Since I like things to look installed correctly I will go to my plumbing store to try and find a replacement exactly like mine. I suggest you do the same.
