   I like the faucet but the sensor has proven to be unreliable. I have had to replace my unit (under warranty) and now the replacement unit has a failing sensor. Customer support at Pfister has been very professional, and they are refunding my full purchase price of the faucet as well as reimbursing me for the cost of having the new unit installed by a plumber. Pfister offered to send out another replacement unit but I don’t want to go through this again.

   I really like this faucet. Almost everything works the way I think it should: the lever is easy to maneuver, the touch-free feature turns on and off easily, and the pull-down head works well. There are a couple of awkward items. The temperature setting on the mixer box that determines the temperature of the water for the touch-free feature is under the cabinet, so it is difficult to change. At its hottest setting, though, the water temperature is tepid. While you won’t burn yourself accidentally, you also won’t have water hot enough, really, to wash your hands. The only other thing that makes this less than perfect is the lack of a positive magnetic seat for the pull-down head. I expect that, down the road, the pull-down head will fail to properly seat.

   Absolutely great! Very easy install as long as you can manage to fit under the sink. The toughest part of this project was actually removing the OLD faucet. Once that was done this one was ready to go in about 40 minutes.
