Replaced 3 valves and with new trims. Working well after installation by a licensed plumber. They look nice too and easy to use then old Avanti. Hope they do pressure balance well too.

  • Good quality kit comes with everything you need to install.

The hardest part of the replacement was getting the old cartridge out. The old one cam apart. I need a small pick to get our the washer. Once I got the old parts out this one fit in perfectly, The handle and Chrome cover come off as one piece and is held on by one small allen head fitting behind the cover.

Purchased these after several of the Big Box Stores versions leaked upon installation. I should have bought these to begin with, PREFECT...no leaks. FYI...I did reuse the Brass Collar from my original unit. Make sure you orient the parts (on the new one) the same way/order as the one you removed.

We have an older Price Pfister Hanover faucet and this replacement hose fit perfectly. We had no problems with installation and there have been no issues with leaking. I like my faucet and did not want to replace it, so I happy this replacement hose worked.

I love the look of this product... clean lines and solid. Unfortunately, it has been in my bathroom for a short time (bought less than a year ago, but put up 6 months ago) and the paint is already rubbing off from the inside cardboard of the toilet paper rolls. Extremely disappointed.

Excellent Value with the Shopping ease of pfisteroutlet.com. 1. A very simple shower/tub with nice detail & polished chrome appearance. 2. A great price point for the value. Comes with everything needed to install. I have a plumber hired and will not be doing this myself but it could easily be a DIY job. 3. Mechanics work great and are very smooth. 4. Be sure to protect the chrome during installation. 5. Great rubber tip shower sprays for easier cleaning.

  • I installed a swivel aerator via an adapter ( https://www.pfisteroutlet.com.com/gp/product/B07QK821VJ ), and this caused water to back up in the faucet and flood the cabinet below the sink. Completely unacceptable, and I've never had this problem before in many years of installing aerators. I bought *ANOTHER* of the same faucet and it had exactly the same problem!!! I think the problem is that Pfister gave no margin of error for the threads of an aerator/adapter going a bit more into the faucet than the stock aerator. This manufacturer should be severely penalized for gross incompetence and not caring about their customers (one of which I will never be again). UPDATE: I was able to solve the flooding problem by using a bunch of silicone gel. It is absurd that this is required, but at least I don't have to get rid of both faucets. I'll attach a photo showing where the silicone needs to go. Also in the photo, notice how badly the threads are misaligned with the faucet opening.

This bar and hose doesn’t come with an on off valve or trim kit. Plan to purchase those items separately. Consult a plumber to figure out all the components you’ll need in addition to this Pfister product.

  • Very nice looking - a bit disappointed in the sprayer. All of the other parts of this faucet are very sturdy; the sprayer feels flimsy and cheap for the price I paid.

Solid construction. Looks great and stylish. Oil bronze finish is perfect. Install was straight forward, just follow the instructions. Great value for the money.

In the product description, it says that this 974-035 is a replacement for the discontinued 974-570. The older 974-570 is on the left. Note the slightly different shape of the holes. At first, when I installed the new 974-035, it leaked, and I wrote a negative review, now retracted! You have to be careful that the old gasket is fully removed from the faucet with the old cartridge. (The new gasket is the black rubber in the picture on the right.) You also have to fuss with the seating a bit, because of the difference in shape. Also, if you still have the old plastic retaining ring, you probably chewed it up getting the old cartridge out. Get the new brass replacement for the retaining ring (available on pfisteroutlet.com), it makes a big difference.
